Howdy all,

If and how is it possible to transfer the money in my company in a family trust.

I know I need to speak to an accountant but just interested if anyone here has any ideas.

The example is...

Years ago I set up a pty ltd which has 1 mill in cash in it.

I now have a family and want to be able to pay the mrs etc from the future profits of the trust.

Can I loan the 1 mill from the co to the trust and slowly pay it back to the co from excess profits from the trust.

Is there an easy way to go about this or will I have to take the 1mill out in one hit and pay a massive tax bill?
