PM did make that statement.
I can't provide a factual reference but I did read commentary that he was the seller of a 3 million parcel of shares at $9.50 a few weeks back. Perhaps someone else could confirm this. If correct then obviously the market took it as a signal that it was perhaps fully valued in the short term. Such a move was bound to have a negative impact on the sp.
The subsequent quality of the reports has done little to support the share price since PM's selling.
However, what the sp correction has down is to bring EXT back to a level where fresh buyers will now see tremendous long term value after the sp arguably had got a bit ahead of itself earlier in the year.
