Hmmm ... on a serious note .. here in SA the Govt realised the power lay in their hands to solve the 'hoon' problemo ..

The Govt passed 'anti-hoon' laws with a $750 fine and the prospect of having hoon car impounded with a $1100 fee to release it after 30 days. Serial offenders also could have car crushed.

Voila .. thousands of fines later .. 5000 cars impounded (includes auto impound of drink drivers) and 1000 cars crushed/sold and NO HOONS !!!

Unfortunately, the SA Chief Justice in a 2012 case ruled SA's Anti-Hoon Laws invalid and Police no longer seek permission to sell/crush cars.

On another matter .. past Police Minister Jennifer Rankin (serial dope ..) reduced down speed camera allowance from 8kms/hr to 5kms/hr (e.g. cam will trip in a 60km area at 65km).

A year later, it has been revealed that revenue from speed cameras has crashed and the Govt is so concerned that new measures are being sought to rectify the revenue shortfall .. road safety ??? Nah !!

Sounds like one for the people .. yay .. it can happen !!

    Just meeee view ..

    Cheers ... tight stops.
