We can see where these things end up. In Britain I have been reading stories about the so-called Liverpool Care Pathway, where the elderly who unfortunately happen to be ill, are starved to death in hospital. Nil by mouth or any other way. When we really start adding up costs sooner or later these options become the only option(with a little help from politicians and hospital accountants).
Ultimately it's all about turning us on each other.
