how do we stop innaccurate information

    Below is a link to an article regarding surcharging on credit cards...

    in the article commenst like the cost is .086%....and choice says "2% for Amex etc"

    These statemnets are totally innaccurate...I work in that industry..amex cherges businesses up to 2.75% + gst...and even with special rates mosts businesses will pay far more than 1% on credit card fes...some I have seen are charges 3%...
    So a legitamate business who is charged say 1.5%..puts a surcharge on of the same amount to cover extra costs..and the customer thinks they are being ripped off..

    Mis-information is rife.... but there is there a way to stop it???
