Best managers are not always the best short term performers.
Platinum international fund has underperformed the markets substantially for the past 10 years.
MSCI AC world net index 10 yrs (in $ AUD ) 11.9% p.a versus Platinum 8.3%
that's not short term in my view.
by comparison Magellan global fund 10 yr performance 16.4 % p.a
IMO, there are much better international fund managers these days than Platinum,
except for their Asia fund which is still OK.
