I reckon I`ve used over 50 different creams.
A lot of people make the mistake of trying to treat the surface ( skin ) first.
The most significant triggers for myself are :
Diet
Lifestyle
Stress
Cold weather

The best treatment is the beach. Sunshine and saltwater.
I swim everyday up until May and then spend most of the winter in Asia or on a Pacific island.
All the steroidal creams are good. I use the Advantan Cream once or twice a day.
I have it under control now am resign to the fact that I will die with it not of it.

Tips :
Wear light coloured shirts.
Keep affected area moist.
Dont pick at dead skin.
Be prepared for a long battle.
Try to stay/live in warmer climate.
Pay attention to your general health.
No sugar.
Less alcohol.

I have a friend who suffers badly
sunshine and beach seem to give him the most relief
