I would say, the chances are, unfortunately no.
Is there not just cause here then for fearful reprisal, in terms of destruction of property and of course consequent fatalities and injuries of the perpetrators and their obvious supporters.

There's been a subtle change in Israeli rhetoric. They've moved from destroying Hamas, to destroying Hamas "as a genocidal terrorist organisation." Press reports suggest that a peace agreement involving the return of Israeli hostages will come sooner rather than later.
