The real reason why this clothing exists at all is because
1 Arab men do not trust themselves when they see a woman and
2 because Arab men do not trust other Arab men.
There are some "added spin offs" from this as well.
It helps to subjugate women - control and "protects" women from men who believe woman are simply there for the "use" of men.
The French got this right. There should be a ban on the use of the full length veil - it has no place in Australia.
