Upon further reflection, I thought this is something worth considering when it comes to assessing MAT.

On the back of today’s drill results, an average junior Perth explorer would have a kick up in its share price and would either be approaching brokers to do a capital raising or have brokers approaching them offering to raise capital.

You see, it’s a win-win – the brokers earn fees and offer to support the company; the company needs cash to continue to explore.

But this is where MAT is different!

MAT can throw as much money at this as they like WITHOUT HAVING TO GO TO THE MARKET AND DILUTE SHAREHOLDERS. Whoever wants to get set isn’t going to do so via a cheapie placement but will have to pay up in the market.

And as much money as MAT throws at exploration will be quickly replenished from trial mining.

Should preliminary DD be positive and the company wants to bring in another DD, no problems - they have the money to do it – WITHOUT DILUTION.

And the company should be reporting thick and fast over the next few weeks – mining permits for the trial mining, a decision to mine, toll treatment deal, DD arriving on site and start of drilling, drill results from Thailand, drill results from DD, commencement of mining. Show me another cashed up junior with all this on its plate.

And assuming MAT is sitting on something (or perhaps numerous somethings) big on their tenements – and as @john435 correctly pointed out, “What is exciting is that Granny Smith up the road is situated above a granitoid intrusion as well” (and I will gladly defer to john435 in matters of geology), then MAT could have an elephant or two on its hands.

If that is in fact the case, the question I have for you is, “How do you like them apples”?
