I did some reading today and the difference systolic and diastolic should be about 40. If the range increases this could be from hardening of the arteries. I've seen many summers and mine is usually 50 points which may be acceptable. Another thing I must ask the Doc.
It is the systolic [the higher number] which is most important.
Caz, your difference between readings is high. Best ask your Doc about that, may be arteriosclerosis but I am just repeating what I read earlier tonightwhen trying to work out what happened to me.
