Hawkers with out sounding like a smart arse I know the exact value of the houses in the area I deal in. If I think a house is worth $750k then I will offer $750k if they counter with $790k I walk, if they counter with $760k
I resubmit offer of $750k. You make your money when you buy and there is always another deal, another property.
Know thy market and do not get sucked in.
