tuckers, are they crooks for not processing your request for free? They might be the same broker but they still have to pay to do it.
arms, yes it isn't good form backing down so close to 30 June and I think typical of this government.
But a couple of comments here suggest that it has forced people to act quickly and / or given them time to consider what to do, but let's face it, bottom line is if it's listed and you can't do a transfer then you just sell and buy on-market. not the end of the world.
As for unlisted, private equity stuff, well it might pay to check if the fund can actually hold shares in it, or at least buy them off a member...
