HI - First post so please go easy!
I have recently started trading via IG Markets platform and am trying to get my head around how shares are actually assigned/settled. Without taking this thread too far off topic, I have some WEB shares which i purchased last week, and again earlier this morning. I wanted to know how I would go about taking up the offer to purchase at $1.70 when that becomes available? Looking through ComputerShare, it appears i need a HIN or SRN (but some searching on IG forum implies they don't issue those?). Appreciate it if anyone who can point me in the right direction (happy for this thread to be moved to another location - couldn't really see another appropriate place to post this up in HotCopper forums)
