Hi Gillysrooms.. i cant know for sure, but i have worked at ANZ (plus 2 other big four banks) and worked in Asia and emerging markets offshore.
I would say that ANZ would largely be servicing Australian firms doing business in China and visa-versa. There is no shortage of Chinese investors looking to enter Australia so im sure they are putting up their hand to assist them.
I doubt, but its a pur guess, that lending exposure in China would be huge. And ANZ would take a fairly conservative view (IMO) compared to the local banks.
