Frankly, cane7, that‘s incorrect - in which piece did JG ever say that?

His story is always along the line of ”PI3K-inhibitors have shown to work against various forms of cancer but all of them have failed in brain cancer because they cannot cross the BBB.
Paxalisib is the only PI3K-inhibitor that is specifically designed for this purpose.“

To answer your question with just one example, VAL-083, which is also in GBM-AGILE also crosses the BBB. A brief Google search with the terms ”VAL-083 BBB“ confirm this via the first hits. And their Phase II results in unmethylated GBM are very similar in PFS and OS to the latest interim data for paxalisib
And reon1‘s remark about circumventing the BBB via different mode of administration such as nasal spray also has merit - there is scientific evidence for that. Though this would require reformulation of existing drugs which we haven’t seen.

I am extremely bullish on Kazia and heavily invested in it but every investor should be fully aware that there are quite a few players out there in GBM and they’re not too far behind Kazia.
