My understanding is you pay a 1.5% management fee no matter what happens in terms of % change in stock value, up or down.
Performance is the relative to the benchmark as per the PDS. Say it outperforms the benchmark by 5% they will charge an additional fee of 0.5% or 1/10th of the total out performance.
5%/10 = 0.5%
0.5% (out performance fee)+1.5% (management fee) = 2% (total fee.)
