The Voice will be a committee made up of everyday Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from across the country, with a diverse range of backgrounds, ages, and ideas. It is proposed that: Members would be chosen from each of the states, territories and the Torres Strait Islands. The Voice would have specific remote representatives as well as representation for the mainland Torres Strait Islander population. In actual fact "the Voice " is a very simple and effective mechanism. It consists of a shovel and a wheelbarrow full of the wealth created by ingenuity and hard work over the past 200 + years. The race is on as to who gets to hold the shovel.
