when you place a buy or sell order thru' commsec you join the queue with others.If you put your sell order in just yesterday I would say you would be at the bottom of the queue.Simply put you have to wait your turn.The longer your order is in the higher up the queue you go.I know this doesn't apply to you because you wanted to trade on the same day, but a tactic I use with commsec is to place orders a week or more in advance to ensure I get a deal when the order price is triggered. Does that make sense?
