ozblue, All this talk about JORC not being able to deal with the Rocklands resource is a bit of a furphy.
See, here is the thing about JORC that apparently a lot of people here seem to not understand:
What is or isn't a JORC resource is determined by what a Competent Person (capitals intended) is or isn't willing to publicly sign off on. A geologist has to state with (metaphorical) hand on heart, in front of their peers, that they think that they have made a best-practice attempt to estimate how much metal is in the ground. The updated 2012 JORC adds a few more requirements as far as reporting assumptions, drillhole assay results, and excluding inferred resource from the reprted headline figures, but ultimately it comes down to having a geo who is willing to stake their professional reputation on the published resource figures. That is the guts of it.
If you are saying that JORC doesn't work for Rocklands, in effect, what you are saying is that CDU have been unable to find a geologist who is willing to put his/her reputation on the line to state that there is as much copper in the ground as you think there is. That is all.
