Pup,
Usually your posts are pretty good I must say.
In this case, perhaps you need to factor in a few other thoughts.
OW: yes they have an offtake agreement. The other. it is in writing. How can OW juggle the sales at the expense of all the other big backers? They can't. Think about it. The others also bought more and know the agreement details. I think you are off the mark on this point.
All the big investors would have needed to be convinced on the deficiency in the JORC before they could tell their Boards to stump up. They MUST have crossed that issue. OK, now they form their own view by assessing the companies view, ok, crossed that bridge. Now they run their numbers. Then they put in the readies.
Where in this journey can CDEU publish anything relevant? It in-house data verified by the investors themselves, who unlike banks, can take a view.
" don't know what is going on with CDU, but something is definitely not right, and never really has been." Pup, this is subjective based on believing that CDEU actually use the Cueq for project financing optimisations. There is no evidence anywhere they do. Even if CDU did, the investors wouldn't.
I think if you cogitated on these rather than the surface impressions posted by negative nannies for what ever reason, you may come to a different conclusion. I am sure you will think about it because "I have spent considerable time looking at the deposit, and think that as a copper resource, it is remarkable and has enormous potential to make a lot of money very quickly." So believe that premise, go and check the CDU presentations on mining costs and current capital costs etc, and you might get a little more comfortable.
