    Im not really sure how it will affect real estate prices,but maybe it will alleviate some of the prices closer to the city because people could eat their breakfast in the car or get dressed instead of driving all saving time and making people not have to leave quite as early couple that with once hitting critical mass and the traffic flowing nonstop instead of traffic jams and I think the outer city suburbs will see a rise in prices.

    Here is an article on the first driver less uber cars being used in Pittsburg later this month, I think once companies like uber push it because they have the money to fast track it we will see it implemented a lot faster than people think

    Also take this with a grain of salt but there is talk/theories that once we reach a certain level of safety and traffic control the government will step in and start putting either a tax on privately owned cars or banning them altogether under the guise of reducing traffic,accidents and pollution, that won't happen for a while but its definitely something to consider.
