The main problem with the state of affairs in this country is compulsory voting, most people keep a closed mind to how this country is being run and how it needs to be run until the last minute and just blindly follow the sheep into the latest trendy nonsense, and then there are the staunch old Labor voters that still hold on to the belief that Labor is for the workers. The party that best supports workers is the party that supports business because business employs people and if businesses are doing well then higher wages and better conditions naturally prevail to attract people to work for them. But of course the average old Labor voter thinks the best way to get better conditions is to hold companies to ransom and strike driving up costs then eventually they have no job because the company shuts down or moves it's operations to another country, car makers, fuel refiners, steel makers and most manufacturing companies are good examples that's why unions have lost so much power because the industries they had strong control over are gone.
