Initially, my feeling was that the ALP were bonkers in electing Albo as their leader. But in reality it was a stroke of genius, which for the Labor Party is pretty rare indeed!
However, on reflection appointing Albo as leader was an extremely smart move. The other major candidates, Shorten, Pliberesk, et al had too much baggage, whereas the less offensive, more likeable suburban and the less flamboyant Albo fitted the narrative to perfection as the more preferred candidate to run against Morrison, as Albo had fewer feathers to ruffle leading up to the election.
But then Albo was also lucky that he was up against Morrison who was definitely out of favour with many of his traditional voters and as a result the fellow with the IQ just above that of a Kumquat fell over the line!
The fact that we have the dumbest PM ever is solely the result of Morrison who couldn't make up his mind if the party he was leading was either Labor lite or marginally Green!!! But he was definitely not a Liberal.
And that's why we have Albo, the Labor Party and the unadulterated havoc that now inflicts this country!
Come the next Federal election, can the 'Drover's Dog' please make a return?!!!!!
