What I'm wondering is why they only drilled in one narrow...

What I'm wondering is why they only drilled in one narrow direction for due diligence? What do they already know about the other directions (S, W, E & NE) that made them not drill in those directions or even the other leases? Alot of questions that can't be answered atm. I'm going to assume the data room provided alot of interesting info which prompted ME to exercise all 8 licenses.

I'm really keen for the full details, full drilling campaign, MAPS when this thing is signed and finalised

Updates for South Gobi and Indonesia would be nice also

Hopefully all this will be known soon, so we can move on from all this speculating and actually get to play with some more firm facts and figures. Considering ME is in Mongolia right now - it should be soon.
