I have noticed a house around the corner from me has had three contracts on it in the last 12 weeks and all three have fallen over. I guess the banks didn't get a big enough deposit to cover a declining market. Seen quite a few others around town fall over too. There is no doubt the banks are very concerned about lending money with small deposit and that will swell the amount of houses on the market as they can't clear them quick enough.
