President Hun Sen outlawed the only major opposition party early this year - all opposition members of parliament were banned from politics for 5 years! It was a sham exercise to guarantee Hun Sen the election win!
Effectively its a one party race so I wouldn't be worried about the election outcome adversely affecting EMR. The main thing will be further delays - as all ministers etc will be fully occupied with the election and EMR's mining lease approvals will be well down the list of priorities I suspect.
