Keep in mind our currency tends to inversely follow they DOW/S&P so as it drops AUD gets cheaper which actually can make good companies here more attractive.
So as long as our market and company fundamentals are sound we may not be that badly hit, may actually see some overseas funds buying. They re reluctant to buy now as perception is AUD is too high
Of course if a massive market crash like late 08/ early 09 all global markets will fall heavily
