Which 2 wells are you talking about? I assume you mean the Jingemia wells?? Its not a "huge" oil accumulation at all. Previously defined by seismic as around 12-15 mbbl, and I believe that the latest well defines the edge of the field and it fits with this previous estimate of 12-15mbbl. Compare it to the size of say Chinguetti which has a 5 km radius at least and around 90m oil column and volume of 130 mbbl recoverable.
Nevertheless its nice that HDR has a good share of Jungemia and that it will give it some decent local cash flow. But Leafcutter would be more significant if it comes in because HDR has 75%.
Yes - some silly sellers - but I have previously posted that they are most likely the placementees at 55 and 70 cents, and some who don't want to take the risk that Chinguetti will not flow well enough.
