More and more business will be home based, and more and more employment will be home based.
Not everyone who will work from home will be running their own business, a large number will be employed by business to work from home as well.
The working from home argument is so ridiculous I am staggered some still use it.
The bulk of that work will be data input, just like doing one's tax return or banking transactions on the net today.
Years ago I did a lot of data input (Cemetery Records) for familySearch/SaltLakeCity/Utah/USA from here in Adelaide, it was no big deal, it worked well.

As far as costings go, do you really expect me to trust any figures from any thing remotely connected to the ALP, surely you are not serious.
