i wonder if any other company has ever had to explain their arrangements in such detail before. this is quite unprecedented... a lot of this is usually commercial in confidence i would imagine. it should be up to the auditors to validate the figures based on the nature of the agreement and probably include it as notes to the audited financials.
an update by BIG explaining the commercial impact of the arrangement, it's cost and guidance for future growth would go a long way to assuage the market. for a change i would love for the AFR to analyse the announcement and have their say... coz this should be gold to them if their thesis is right. let's see.
