    Ok, first up: that last graph is not how you do a trend. Like, at all.

    Second: “Today, it is no longer acceptable for the NASA global temperature data set to graphically depict a strong warming trend during the first half of the 20th century.” I think you’ll find that the strong warming trend during the first half of the 20th century has barely changed at all. The only data that has really moved substantially is 1880-1900, which I’m sure you’ll agree is not part of the first half of the 20th century.

    Third: something notably lacking in this diatribe is any investigation whatsoever about why those changes were made. It’s just assumed that they’re the result of nefarious action.

    Fourth: that’s really, really, really not how you calculate a trend. Really.
