Fantastic news indeed. Campbell seems to be a very passionate, driven and intelligent man. He has done great things for Brisbane.

Certainly not to make light of the tragedy, but we all know that the only thing that saved Anna was the flood. Campbell got almost as much exposure as Anna during the crisis. I'm sure a big reason why Langbroek is out of favour is I don't remember seeing him on the TV once. It was all Anna and Campbell. Maybe he was busy finding a personality.

Anyway, I agree that the best thing about this development is that we could soon see the back of Kate Jones aka The Little Weasel. She's the real spanner in the Cougar works. Rather than the Cougar shutdown being a political matter, I've always had a feeling that it's somehow a personal matter. Maybe Kate has friends or relatives in the KCCG. Put the microscope on Cougar, include LNC and CNX just so it doesn't seem suspicious, shut Cougar down and let LNC and CNX move on.

I remember reading an article where it said that Kate Jones called members of the KCCG personally to inform them of the shutdown. Can't seem to find it. It's online somewhere. Basically, the gal was obviously on a mission.
