I doubt the gap will be covered myself. I am expecting a gap up over on Monday and would be very surprised if it retaced back to that level. Ill be piling in if goes anywhere near $5.65.
On current numbers, the provisions could represent a 40c+ special dividend with $600million+ profit expected for FY22. I think this represents a major turnaround in sentiment and expect the SP to settle up towards pre covid levels early next year (accounting for previous dilution). Remember we were near $8 pre-covid and the BI case was the major issue that prevented IAG recovering with the market. All my opinions though.
