IAG does not know exactly, publicly anyway of the detailed nature of the application, except that it appears to relate to insureds who hold policies with CGU and business interruption losses related to COVID-19. A test case as they say....Its main objective is to assess any business interruption claims as quickly as possible following the final resolution of the issues in court. IAG remains satisfied with the adequacy of its provision for business interruption claims....seems to me that good solicitation has been penciled in and it will be a "behave or we will exhaust tax payers money to try and pin something on you type of thing to make themselves look busy like every other Gov department....unless there is another court case you are talking about ????
