Haha it goes both ways... maybe rates to go negative!
My thinking was a rise in long term interest rates would help central banks and governments repair their balance sheets, debt etc.
I think the market is factoring in rate rises earlier than 2024 as first signalled by central banks. Household savings rates are the highest they have been in decades so there is no shortage of money to be spent too.
But who knows. IAG has held up well today tho
