    wanty

for what it's worth i'm not a day trader - i'm an investor.

    but

back in the mid 1980's i was off sick from work. i'd been investing a bit over the years but had never done any really serious research. whilst i was off i did. i made money. more than i would have at work. the second time and about a year later i was off again. same problem. smashed ribs. (done them in 11 times now all told !) made more dough the second time tho. so i got my act together and planned to quit work. this month i have been a 'free' man for 20 yrs. yes, i have done ok and much better than had i carried on at work. tons better in fact.

my point is .. learn as much as you can and then take a couple of weeks off and see how you go. treat it seriously. make rules and stick to them. if successful, then once a year say, revise your rules and build on them. always trade well within your limits. never gamble. experience will tell what gambling is in the market place. calculate the risks v reward and go for it. ONLY EVER trade or invest with money you do not need for day to day living. keep a few yrs living expenses in hand if you can. if you can't and can easily return to a job then prepare for 6m or a 1yr out and see how it goes. one thing i can tell you, it's not easy. few make it. ask any broker. ask mine. i use 3 and they tell me to ignore themselves. it's a nice compliment.

maybe try the investor route whilst working at the same time. i don't know how old you are or much experience you have but i was once told to read everything you can. that was and still is, very good advice. day trading is hours involved compared to investing. i can go away and leave my investments alone. traders can't.

wahtever you do always be careful. read my profile. it was not put there lightly.

i never say good luck. no such thing. it's all down to you and what you put into it.

    be good.
