Yeh the US takes their medicine, but after 2000 it took 3 years to be effective.
The question is whether this is a cold or a major flu.
All the historical evidence suggests the US will make no headway for another 10 years IMO.
Your "take" may well be correct but most here work from an historical but more importantly a technical view.
That means we don't get blindsided by "hunches".
While I respect your view, I find it disconcerting that a lay economist can have an accurate view of the world, especially when markets are looking ahead 12 months or more.
I suppose a non trader will always be bailed out by the long term. Not saying that is you.
Tell me you have greater insight than economists and I will be interested. Economists are the most near sighted of all prognosticators. None has ever seen a recession till it is past.
I do appreciate you posting and am not trying to brow beat you.
I am only to willing to gain any knowledge to my advantage.
