re: how high will gold go?..as low as us$ will fa ...i think, after following international news from a variety of sources, the big picture for next year looks rather like this: the euro will replace the US$ as the leading oil trading currency..the control of central asian oil&gas fields will increasingly fall to the Russian, Chinese, Iranian, European, Indian, Pakistani alliance..as us forces will have to leave the middle east..we all know that the us is technically bankrupt..central banks will be dumping us$ big style..us$ will be devalued dramatically and this will push up the price of gold dramatically but temporarily only..as the international trading situation steadies and the world gets used to the euro based international trading regime, gold will steady and probably trace back a bit..it will be oil&gas charts up again...so i have something on gold short term and stocking up on presently cheap oil shares for next years rise..
