Only an extremely ignorant person would point their finger at the Muslims for this barbaric practice, which is carried out on cultural grounds by a few backward African tribes - some of whom happen to be Muslims. Nowhere in the Qur'an is this practice mentioned or intimated in any shape or form. With the exception of those few tribes Muslims consider the castration of women to be an abhorrence.
