Because they are not able to sell into that demand in any significant quantity. One of their fields isn't even connected to the east coast grid, the other two are basically fully contracted under long term contracts, so little is available for spot sales. They had a bunch of wells and recompletions they've done to try and increase spot volumes but the results underperformed their stated expectations - I think they got about 4 TJ/d from the most recent program when they told us they would get 10 TJ/d. It doesn't take long for natural field decline to erase 4 TJ/d again.
On top of that they sold half of their producing assets to NZO/CUE in exchange for a free carry on the well they are currently making a balls-up of. So they only own half of what little amount of spare gas they would have been able to deliver.
They do make some spot sales so you will see a rise in the average gas price they report at the next quarterly in about 10 days time but it won't be huge compared with the current spot price because most is sold under those long-term contracts.
