how i see things

Ok, so a few of you will recognise me here, but I noticed we have a few new posters on BTR. So I just want to point a few things out...

I'm a holder in the company and have been for a while now, I've been tracking the story of BTR and read up on it's history over the past few years.

Blackthorn is well poised with regards its current assets and I consider this talk of BTR having to raise extra funds ludicrous. As I've said before, earlier this month, Glencore will put up any cash for any expansion or increased costs at Perkoa. The Perkoa budget is the responsibility of Glencore. Essentially, Perkoa is Glencore's mine, of which, BTR own a 40% stake. BTR can simply forego any payments that would have been coming their way on the first marketable resources, until Glencore recovers their short term loan.

BTR has more than enough cash in the bank to continue with it's exploration/drilling and feasibility (& pre-feasibility) studies at Kitumba - the world class asset.

Kitumba is the reason that the majority of long term holders are IN on BTR. Perkoa is of insignificance to me personally in terms of my investment (except to partly de-risk it). What is interesting, is that it only appears to be insto's and short termers affecting the BTR SP, hence no surprise in the little dip since the weekend. Important for me though, is that the dip of 20cents, clearly doesn't take any account of the Kitumba project and Kakhozi prospect.

Kitumba alone could be worth the equivalent of $40+ in SP to BTR's longer holders. My money is staying put, we've got a great MD/CEO, who has a top notch policy on governance and I can't see any record to date of a mistake or bad decision made by him or his board. BTR is a keeper. I'm a holder and that's what I'll do, HOLD.
