"what steps need to be taken to secure the election," the answer is quite simple. the same steps needed to secure halloween thanksgiving day x'mas new years eve & that your kids can go to school without fear of getting blown up by some idiot at the busstop with a bomb-belt on. meaning what? you needd to realize that you are in the middle (or start of) world war three & that you've got to beat the stuffings out of your enemy. if the whole world is against you, fight them all. but you've got to win the war & until then, emergency regulations, martial law. you must never show weakness. if you are holding people on the grounds of being terrorists, the time to release them is when the war is over. and if someone tells you not to wish your friends merry christmas because it might hurt someone's feelings, stuff them into your pudding & if they don't like it here, to go live in saudi or afghanistan or whereever else they come from it. anyone tries to disrupt your democratic processes, shoot on sight or deport them to sub-sahara sudan. that's the way to win a war, but you've first got to recognize that there is a war on. and another thing: don't ever wash your dirty linen in public, giving the enemy the ammunition they need to discredit & demoralize you. hire someone to do your propaganda work for you. someone like myself who knows how to write. before long, you'll be able to shout the truth from the rooftops every day of the week, until such time as you can bring your soldiers home to the hero's welcome they deserve. never say sorry, never show weakness, shoot to kill. after the war, you can all shake hands & be good mates again.
