1. Treat it as an FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Good) rather than a medical device
2. Strike up a deal with the largest FMCG company in the world, Procter and Gamble or P & G
3. Let P & G, who know about these things, develop the final product and have a proper launch rather than what is happening ATM on the pericoach website, which is a bit messy to say the least, no apple app
4. Have clinicians available over the internet 24/7 globally to teach people how to use the product
5.. Sit back and count the royalties
Why this makes sense
1. Perth company OBJ licensed its technology to P & G
2. In September, P & G released a cosmetic product called SK II Magnetic Eye Wand in South Korea, multimillion dollar launch, using the most famous actresses and entertainers, created huge interest and sold out. Department stores overrun with enthusiastic buyers
3. P & G releasing SK II Magnetic Wand in Hong Kong and Taiwan in December, followed by Japan and China in January, just in time for Chinese New Year.
4. Imagine if P & G used the same actresses and entertainers to launch the Pericoach to the same women who have already purchased the SK II. Easy peasy
5. OBJ have their development expenses funded by P & G and just collect royalty. ALT are doing it the hard way with limited capital, several Capital Raisings and development is frustratingly slow as a result.
6. ALT are into developing great IP, but in my view getting stuff sold is not exactly ALT's forte, the autostart burette was to have been a world beater but its uptake has been underwhelming
7. According to the video in oscarone's last post, there are requests for other products to come along in the pipeline...
8. So in line with points 1 to 7 above, it really does make sense to get in touch with P & G for mutual benefit, faster time to market, better marketing by the big boys and a better return for long suffering SH!
