For once you and I agree. The armchair generals need to understand that there is a big difference between attacking stone-throwing teenagers and attcaking a country like Iran.
Furthermore, invading Iraq at the height of your military capacity and the height of your country's will (to do such a thing) is very different to attacking Iran when you are already stretched to the limit in terms of human resources, financial resources and the public's support for such a venture.
The US may drop bombs but they sure as hell have no hope of ground troops going in.
