actually, though I'm known not to be fan of muslim countries - Iran is a very interesting country, with quite a diverse range of viewpoints.... if you see, for instance, some of the films they've produced over the years you'd be (possibly) surprised about how good they are, and they couldn't originate from some backward looking mullah, they are the product of modern-minded people....

but once again, the cursed shadow of religion falls like a pall over the entire country condemning it to pariah status... but really, it shouldn't be like that at all...
