maybe re-read my post I don't agree with the fine however i doubt they will get away with it as they would not get a fine for driving to the local shops rather then over 30kms down a motorway..
Plus if your 17 you should already have a year of experience under you belt, anyway i think this is all a tactic, go hard and dish out some fines before Easter to stop people traveling over the long weekend.
I know a couple of front-line paramedics and nurses, they are all expecting a spike in cases a week or so after Easter, they also said currently coping ok, if there is a big spike they will be in trouble.
