The fact that BHP don't own any Tier 1 lithium resources absolutely baffles me given the expected demand for Lithium in the upcoming years. Is it possible for BHP to follow the likes of RIO and attempt to get into the lithium game? I feel an asset such as LTR's Kathleen valley would be a perfect fit for BHP given its a tier 1 asset located within Australia, unlike RIO's Jensen project located within Serbia. Thoughts team?
