hanrahan, I find covered calls hard to understand and implement, but I agree that it could be the right time for them. The other strategy might be to look at some high yielding stocks. If enough people move towards yielding stocks, then you can factor in a bit of capital growth too.
chalea, If your system works, trade it! I was just saying what I reckon might be the best strategies in the current market phase. I have a feeling the breakouts will be smaller and much shorter lived. Of course there will be exceptions.
