I think there are many out there that think there will be a big crash this year.
That is why there will be.

I am also interested that he says the USD will rally as the market crashes which is the usual procedure.

So, my point has always been(read previous posts) that when this does occur, the Gold, moreso than silver, price will go higher in AUD, as was the case in 2008.

The other reason I believe your mates scenario is that the FED needs a reason for more QE, that will come after the crash.

Anyway, its a bit Whatever, because long term precious metals is a winner if you can be patient. Also, some cash is good too for bargains along the way.

Buy gold bullion, sell when crash comes and Gold up in AUD, then sell and buy gold and silver shares for QE3, 4, 5, 6, ,7.
